Words To Live By
Be grateful for each new day.
A new day that you have never lived before.
Twenty-four new, fresh, unexplored hours to use usefully and profitably.
We can squander, neglect, or use them.
Life will be richer or poorer by the way we use today.
Finish every day and be done with it.
You have done what you could;
some blunders and absurdities crept in;
forget them as soon as you can.
Tomorrow is a new day.
You shall begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be
encumbered with your old nonsense.
-Ralph Waldo Emerson

Misty? That's like gothically foggy!
GG- It was pretty spooky. And today we are being POUNDED with snow, right after all of our snow just melted of course. ;)
Truly atmospheric and compelling. Many a person wouldn't have thought to take photos in that kind of half light, but they have worked out really well. Freda from Dalamory (www.freda.org.uk)
Hey from SA :) creepy movie weather...
Something makes me love that kind of weather, it's mystical I think. Of course I'm saying that from South Carolina where it's 70 and sunny...
Julie- I agree. Not that I like it all the time, but a dark, dreary day is kinda fun once in a while. Especially if there is a chance to curl up with some coffee and a good book. :)
Wow! Nice effect! Looks like a lot of fog!
betty
That first picture looks eerie- cool shots!
It's fine till you have to drive in it.
misty like that here too... and my son has a new driving permit...
Maybe because I'm in Los Angeles where it's still sunny -even in January- but that looks really, really cold!
I can just feel the mist making my hair curl :-)
