Thursday Thirteen - My First!

Random Thoughts for Thursday Thirteen

1- I'm so ticked off at Todd! Why? For encouraging me to be a stripper, not letting me quit, bringing all of his friends to my strip club to watch me strip for his bachelor party, and then flirting with my nemesis stripper. Freaking guy. Sure, it was all just a dream I had last night but I'm still pretty mad about it. If he thinks he is getting a kiss goodbye when he leaves for work this morning he'd better think again!

2- I was watching the Olympics last night and discovered a woman who had held the previous record in a swimming event was called Misty Hyman. That's all I have to say about that.

3- I bought 4 gallons of milk on Monday morning and we are down to 1.

4- What is going to happen when these boys are teenagers? We are gonna go broke.

5- I am loving the 80's comeback. Look at those rolled jeans! So cute. I latched on to the trend twice this week already.

6- I hope the weather is nice this weekend so we can go boating.

7- I think I would enjoy using our new boat much more if I didn't feel like the Stay Puffed Marshmallow Man in a swimsuit.

8- Two hundred posts! I missed it.

9- Perhaps if I didn't eat two Reese's Peanut Butter cups after going for my run I might actually loose some weight.

10- And maybe put a stop to my Bagelful obsession. That would help too. Thanks a lot!

11-I think I'll take the boys to the beach today. Oh wait. Crap. It's raining now.

12- I love this song.

13- I could really go for a Bagelful.

LOVE that song too. Along with Say by John Mayer.

I almost checked off your blog, but after reading #1 was a dream, I'm still a fan. :-) LOL. If it's any consolation, I dreamt that my brother kept pouring water over Jack's head with the sprinkler and the poor guy couldn't breath. Why do we even think these things?? Scary.

Kate could get away with wearing just about anything. I really would look like the state puff marshmallow man if I rolled my jeans...

Milk/Gas - we're going broke too - hence the reason for plasma donation. Ugh.

Funny post!

pegged jeans are coming back? NOOOOOO..... these are TERRIBLE for tall people, who can barely get jeans long enough to begin with, and then we have to ROLL THEM UP? Will the big socks that the roll sort of sat on top of come back too?

ha ha... love the dream. My poor husband gets my angry side in the morning too because of dreams that just seem so real. And also, I could totally hit a Beagelful right now too. :)

NOOOOO, I can't go back to the rolled jeans!! I was so stuck in that fad, my friends had to drag me out of it. LOL

Yay!! Lovin' the List Kathryn! (not so sure about Katie Holmes attempt at the 80's comeback though....hmmm....this one is going to take a while to adjust to- I live in AR, so the trend will take 3-4 years to get here;-)

Oh yeah....and I was thinking: COOL! I have an ex-stripper as a bloggie friend! HAHH!

I read the dream twice. Thrice. And then went 'aaahhhh, clever'.

Me TOO! (not mad at Todd, I mean I love the song). I even turned my playlist off to listen to your video :-) I can't get past the stripper dream for anything clever to say, sorry. said...

SHAME on Todd. I'd be pissed, too. He knows better than to whore you out like that.

I had to laugh multiple times while reading that. But, I dunno about the 80s coming back.

So .... is Todd still in strife?

I love that there are others out there that think with the same amount of randomness that I, fun, fun!

I almost fell out of my chair when I read #1 then you said it was a dream.
I am right there with you on the milk issue and the weight (I say that as I eat a hershey bar I dip into the Jiffy Jar)

He definitely deserves the cold shoulder. :-)

I've seen the have a LOT of bagelfuls to go before you have to worry about the staypuff marshmallow guy.

I went to the grocery store to get dinner for tonight, didn't get much else, pinky-swear, and it was $70!!! I think we need to start eating ramen noodles all the time.

I hate it when I have dreams that make me mad at John! Well, he hates it more. ha ha

Isn't Misty Hyman a medical condition? Or one of those Feminine Hygeine products?

I had a dream about my husband once that caused me to stop speaking to him for a few days. It was pretty AWFUL.

Dude. Peg legs are back just in time for the NKOTB concert tour. It cannot possibly be a coincidence.

Okay. I'm still stuck on the dream!! I was all, "huh! What?"

And, I hear that boys eat you out of house and home. At least you don't have to pay for prom dresses and weddings!

Fyi, I too have had dreams where my husband has been mean and I held an awake grudge!

I LOVE that song - I could play it over and over!

Glad to hear number one was a dream! But you know that they say - dreams are a window to the soul... What do you make of that!

That is a great list and I am still laughing about the first one! said...

Not sure how I found my way here but your Thursday 13 gave me a few good laughs, especially number 1. I used to like the Coldplay song too but my wife loves it so much that she plays it incessantly. Another great song ruined. Will visit again.

All I have to say is number 1 is too funny. I'm glad it was just a dream ;)

#1 made me think at first that you were taking pole dancing fitness classes ;)

Could hardly read past #1. That happens to me all the time. I wake up so pissed because my hubby cheated on me with that damn chick from High School, or the grocery store, or...

He doesn't get it. I'm glad YOU do. :)

thought #1 deserves a blog all it's own ....

Words To Live By

Be grateful for each new day.
A new day that you have never lived before.
Twenty-four new, fresh, unexplored hours to use usefully and profitably.
We can squander, neglect, or use them.
Life will be richer or poorer by the way we use today.
Finish every day and be done with it.
You have done what you could;
some blunders and absurdities crept in;
forget them as soon as you can.
Tomorrow is a new day.
You shall begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be
encumbered with your old nonsense.

-Ralph Waldo Emerson
