WW- I'm In Big Trouble

Why do I always hand out my favorites?
I wonder if here will be any left for the trick-or-treaters.

This is why I wait until the last minute and buy cheap, nasty candy, because that bowl right there would not make it until Friday in my house.

That is a beautiful shot.

I don't even have enough Twix bars left to take a picture!

hahaha, i have the same problem!

That's a big reason I'm not doing Halloween this year. Last year I ate myself into a chocolate frenzy. And then I went on a diet. I don't want to go on a diet this year :-)

Peace - D

I live in the boonies, so we get to eat ALL the candy we buy. For some reason, I still buy enough candy to give to trick or treaters.

Brittany said...

ha ha ha too funny. That's why you should hand out something like...apple slices? lol

We haven't opened our bags, that keeps us out of it. Good luck!

lol, good luck! We've been through a couple bags already, so now we're waiting until the day of!

Happy WW!

I know! It is so hard not to just eat all of it! At least you're prepared though, I haven't even bought candy yet...

I bought a mix of stuff candy bars, lollipops, gum, and last year we had to go and get more, this year I had a ton left over. Now I'm stuck with it. Reeses I don't think would've made it in our house. I would have had to buy them the day of.

I do the same thing. My husband just had to hide the candy. I have no idea where it is. But it's working!

I do the same thing. My logic is that if there is candy left over, I don't want it to be something I don't like! I love me some PB and Chocolate!

Those look yummy!

I have already had to buy more Halloween candy due to my DH and his sweet tooth.

I try not to buy all of my favorites or I may be tempted to eat it all up. I do love going through my kid's bags to see what I can eat...we trick or treat Friday night.

Good thing those are not at my house - I'd have them in the freezer and then eat them every time I passed by, until they were gone, which would be like 2 hours...

Yes, those would be totally gone at my house right now. You must have somebody hide them for you.

I tent to buy my favorite too. I think it is so that I can have some! Next year I am going to buy my least favorite...if I remember :)

We give them whatever is the cheapest, and keep the good stuff for ourselves. Or I do anyway, my wife is a diabetic -- but I'm sensitive about it -- I eat in the other room.

This would be why I chose to get stickers and playdoh this year! I end up eating all the candy, too. I still need to send you my best ghost story.

I don't think I could leave that bowl alone--those are my fav too!

Blessings!

p.s.--love the boys' fall pics on your sidebar--so cute!

Yum!!! My favorite also, I steal all of my kids when they are sleeping after halloween!

I bet you'll be a popular house, though!

I always buy those 100 grand bars and eat the majority of the bag before Halloween. I just can't stop myself.

This year, I'm not buying anything since we basically live in a retirement home. That will save a few pounds going straight to my behind.

Yum! I'll tell you, I went to Target yesterday to pick up some last minute costume accessories and it was SOOO hard not to grab a few bags of my favorite. Reese's are one of mine too! I have a feeling weigh in this week won't be so good. ;)

Don't you know you aren't supposed to OPEN the bag until Halloween day???

Cyndi said...

Those would be gone by morning in our house.

I plan to finish off a bag of Snickers tonight, and I'm totally OK with it.

Momisodes said...

LOL! Those are my favorite, too. I received an email asking parents to not hand out candy containing peanuts to kids.

No Problem! More for me :)

Ugh...me to! I hold off buying candy until the last minute because I know I'll eat it all if I don't. But I ordered mine through the mail this year and it's already here...tempting me!

We have similar taste - reeses, kit kats & snickers :) I just opened my bags today - I may be in trouble!!!

Yum... look at you, all festive with the music and pumpkins!!! Too cute!

I'm hungry just looking at those! I have to buy Bit o Honey for my poor trick or treaters, otherwise the cupboard would be bare!

My pregnant self has already eaten four packs of Halloween candy ...

I'm surprised they are still even there when I refresh the monitor because in my mind I ate them. All.

Yum. I LOVE those! And I KNOW I can't keep those in the house without eating them.

Those are my favorites too.

Take care - Kellan

I buy my favorites because I am pretending they are for the trick or treaters that have never come. So I know the candy is for me and I misss trick or treating, and etting a whole pillowcase full of candy. So the truth is I buy me favorites and then eat them up, have you got any M&M's? Yeah Micheal Jackson did some good halloween stuff, he still looked like a black man then.

Roxy Wishum said...

Oh, man--how can I get that far north for Halloween? If I mail you a picture of myself in a kid's costume, will you mail me a Reese cup?

OHmommy said...

LOL. I was seriously thinking the same thing! I bought Kit Kats this year.

Shaking my fist.

Scrappy said...

Oh, yummy! I don't buy the good stuff to hand out. I steal the good stuff from my kids. They are starting to get too old and are wanting to keep it all to themselves. Darn!

P.S. I love the music. I usually hate music on blogs, but I didn't hit the mute button this time. :)

Love the fall make over! But you threw me when "Kat" popped up in my email!

I always get the candy we like too, because we give away 3 pieces and then, yeah!, More for us!

I'm so proud of myself; this year I bought 2 bags of GOOD candy, wrapped them up and hid them in the kitchen. And we haven't touched them YET!

Haven't bought halloween candy in about 17 years. Living rural down a dark and long private drive with a gate has its advantages. Nary a kit kat or reeses pass my lips on the bewitching night. : )

Unknown said...

Oh no! That would so NOT fly at my house for MANY reasons. Those are my favorite!! How do you keep the boys from drooling over them?

And what's your address again? ; )

yummy yummy! I love those too!

Um, yeah...you should know better than that! I learned that trick last year. So this year it's pixie sticks. Yuck!! LOL.

Hi Kat,

Happened upon you from Frog and Toad...

I do the same thing--buy my favorites! I usually end up going through quite a few before we get trick-or-treaters.

Fun to meet another midwest mommy!

Words To Live By

Be grateful for each new day.
A new day that you have never lived before.
Twenty-four new, fresh, unexplored hours to use usefully and profitably.
We can squander, neglect, or use them.
Life will be richer or poorer by the way we use today.
Finish every day and be done with it.
You have done what you could;
some blunders and absurdities crept in;
forget them as soon as you can.
Tomorrow is a new day.
You shall begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be
encumbered with your old nonsense.

-Ralph Waldo Emerson
