Good/Bad

Good- We were outside all day on Saturday enjoying the sunny 70 degree weather and we had a blast!
Bad- Today is 40 degrees and rainy as it was yesterday for our open house.

Good- Five groups of people came to our open house yesterday.
Bad- The couple that was supposed to come back for a third time was not one of them. I don't know if that is good or bad.

Good- I will not be writing about selling our house again until we actually get an accepted offer, because I'm sick of thinking, talking, and writing about it.
Bad- Selling the house is all I can think about lately which means I may not be posting much. Well, actually, you might think that is a good thing. ;)

Good- My birthday is in a few days.
Bad- I'll be 33. 33! Huh? How did that happen so quickly?

Good- Another birthday (even 33) just means I'm still alive.
Bad- I'm 33.

Good- I just bought a WHOLE TON of fruit this morning. Lots of apples, pears, bananas, two packages of strawberries, and two huge bags of grapes.
Bad- It was super expensive and it will probably only last us until Thursday in this house.
Good- The grass is getting green and pretty, and buds and leaves are appearing on the trees. Woopee!!! Spring may finally be here!
Bad- We are supposed to get a few inches of snow tomorrow. Spring may have to wait.

Good- I had a 24 week check-up for baby at the doctor's office and everything looks fabulous. Baby's heartbeat was 159.
Bad- The doctor annoyed me with all his "easy on the simple carbs, and keep exercising" crap.
Especially when I noticed the doctor's scale has me 8 pounds heavier than my home scale. Grrr.

Good- My spell check is working.
Bad- I know that because I always spell exercise incorrectly. Shouldn't there be a "z" in there somewhere? Or maybe an "s" in place of the "c"? Whatever.

Good- I had a dream about donuts last night, and it was lovely.
Bad- Todd dreamed that I was cheating on him and woke up angry with me.

Good- My boys picked wild flowers for me from our backyard because, in their own words, "they love me so much".
Bad- Nope. Nothing bad about that!

Aww...I love that they picked flowers for you. So sweet. Boo on the doctor's scale, the weather, and not selling your house. But yay on the fruit and donuts. And turning 33 is bittersweet. Hope you have a wonderful birthday! Maybe the house selling will be your birthday present!

Good - Dream donuts have zero calories and negative fat.

Bad - They just don't taste *quite* as satisfying.

I understand what you're saying about writing and the house. A woman's gotta do what a woman's gotta do. Just keep us updated on how you are. - Julia

Now I get the fruit thing:)

I hope the house sells for you; I can't imagine how frustrating it can be!

And, my doctor's office scale is off, too!

Great post. Yeah for all the good, boo for the bad. Ignore the doctor, you'll be fine.

Donut dreams??? Yum. :-)

Fingers crossed for the house.

Great, happy news about the baby.

It's awesome that your family will go through that fruit like that, we need to work on that around here.

Don't stay away, I'd rather hear about the house fears than nothing.

Take care.

Good: You are only going to be 33.
Bad: I am 41 and wishing I was 33.

Happy Birthday in a couple days! :)

I heard about the snow....yuck, hopefully it will be just rain. Good luck on the house thing, I know how frustrating it can be.

very cute post.

33's not so bad! Is it good or bad that this post made me laugh?
(And what pretty flowers!)

I weighted the bad against the good and you came out GOOD! The cute house you live in should make all this limbo a bit easier -- and flowers from those three boys? I just doesn't get any better. Keep up the GOOD work, sweet friend (and I'll keep up the prayers . . . things always work together for GOOD -- He promises, and we can count on it). XO!

Kat...you're just a baby yourself...33? I'm going to be 50 years old in a VERY few years...with two kids under 10! But you know what? They keep me younger than I EVER thought possible! Now smell those flowers, love those boys, hug that husband, give the whole house ordeal over to Him, treasure the precious life you are carrying inside of you, have another piece of fruit...and keep dreaming of donuts. ;)

OMG What IS IT with Doctor's scales? My doctor's scale is 8-10 pounds MORE than my home scale. I hate that!

Your and Todd's dreams made me laugh. You can tell who the preggo lady is. LOL Mmmmm, donuts.

Thank God, I've never had an OB or midwife who ever said a word about my weight gain when pregnant. Lucky for them ;-)

That was fun to read. :) I remember waking up mad at my husband once because of something he did in a dream....weird feeling. I hope you have a wonderful birthday. We're the same age...my birthday is next week.

You might think that 33 is bad, but check back in a couple of decades, and you'll see that it was all good. Happy almost birthday. :)

33...so young:)

I am not happy about the weather either...we might get snow tonight. That is after a day full of rain and hail:P

Do you remember the good news/bad news part of the animaniacs? That always cracked me up. I wake up mad at my husband when I have dreams like that, too. I had a dream that we went on vacation together and as soon as we got there he ditched me and I didn't see him the whole week and I woke up so sad!

The good, the bad, the ugly and the precious - a great life, isn't it?!?!?!? HUGS!

Boo annoying doc!
I remember 33. It was a very good year!

We go through $35 worth of fresh fruit per week. I could substitute in cheaper things like fruit snacks or chips, but it's hard to put money before good eating habits. I can't wait for the farmer's market to open so things can be acquired for less!

Cute post! I know how all consuming house selling can be, but you know, blog about it if it helps... even if it drives you nuts.

You're turning 33, aw, you're a young'un baby! We won't mention how old I'm turning this year.

Your boys are so cute too ... and your big one, being mad at you because of a dream. Too funny!

Jason has dreamed that I cheated on him before, and also woke up mad at me. He was actually in a different city at the time and called to let me know he was mad! lol

Words To Live By

Be grateful for each new day.
A new day that you have never lived before.
Twenty-four new, fresh, unexplored hours to use usefully and profitably.
We can squander, neglect, or use them.
Life will be richer or poorer by the way we use today.
Finish every day and be done with it.
You have done what you could;
some blunders and absurdities crept in;
forget them as soon as you can.
Tomorrow is a new day.
You shall begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be
encumbered with your old nonsense.

-Ralph Waldo Emerson
