Haiku Friday

Thanks everyone!
Your wise words and advice helped
I am less stressed now.

Feeling much better
Very calm and reassured
Home's where the heart is

So, we decided
Put in a low-ball offer
We'll see where it goes

I am so excited for you. Wow! I hope it all works out the way you would want it to. I'm also very jealous. I would love to have 5 bedrooms.

Oh, yay! Sounds like a good plan. Kind of putting it out there but not forcing anything and seeing how it goes is often the right choice.

Nice approach, and what will be will be. I WILL say that as your boys get physically bigger - like taller and heavier with long legs and arms - more than 1500 sf will be a desirable thing. And there are still many firsts to come.

A peaceful mind, a prayerful heart, and perhaps some packing hands. We shall see ...

Praying right alongside you. : )

Hooray for you! I bet it will work out wonderfully!!! And even if you don't get the house, you did the hardest part - you jumped in with both feet!

Sorry that I have been out of touch while living in the woods. You will certainly need more space over time--especially after the child #4 arrives. Thanks for the great thoughts about the sentimental memories associated with your house. It made me sit and think about those times in our family history. Soon a new house will seem like home.

One does feel emotional about leaving one's house!

Change is always a bit disconcerting at first, but soon nicer things & feelings take over!

Wish you all the best for a great future in a bigger & better house!

Ps> love the photos of the babies!

Good luck! I think if it's in God's plan, it'll happen. It is hard moving, but a house is just a building; and you'll be close enough to still get together with old friends. (Even the lake...) Have a great weekend!

Woo Hoo! Go for it!

I just caught up with everything. I'm so sorry I missed the last post. I SO remember the stresses of home buying and moving. Very wise step in throwing in a low ball offer in this market.
Keeping my fingers crossed that the best outcome for you and your family unfolds :)

That was great thinking. You've made an offer, and now it's out of your hands.

Words To Live By

Be grateful for each new day.
A new day that you have never lived before.
Twenty-four new, fresh, unexplored hours to use usefully and profitably.
We can squander, neglect, or use them.
Life will be richer or poorer by the way we use today.
Finish every day and be done with it.
You have done what you could;
some blunders and absurdities crept in;
forget them as soon as you can.
Tomorrow is a new day.
You shall begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be
encumbered with your old nonsense.

-Ralph Waldo Emerson
