Find A Happy Place!

The hubby just called and said that a realtor would like to show our house to one of her clients tonight at 6:00. Incredibly good news. And an incredibly small window of time to get the house presentable. Time to toss a few Cheerios on the ground for the boys, start cleaning, and start drinking! (wink, wink, nudge, nudge)

Find a happy place. Find a happy place. Find a happy place!

See photo below for said happy place.

GOOD LUCK! Just remember, a little bit of clutter or even dirt, would not keep me from buying a house I really wanted. Hope it goes well.

Don't forget to put a pot of water with cinnamon on to boil. Psychology says the smell of apple pie makes people looking at your house feel at home in it. I don't know why - but that's how it is.

GOOD LUCK!

I LOVE the tossing cheerios on the floor bit. So funny. Wish it would work around here...the ten year old doesn't buy it anymore. :)

My best of luck! Hope it all worked out!

Great plan! Sounds like my house, except the kids are older so they're all '5 second rule' (whatever!) so it's dog treats on the floor for us. And don't forget the wine!

Did you bake apple pie so your house would be inviting?

Good luck--I remember bringing Mr. T to the same restaurant every time our house was shown --because everyone wants to look at your house at dinner time!

CONGRATS ON THE RUNNING EFFORTS!!!

I always get hurt when I start up doing it again- so don't fret. It will get better. I just have to remind myself that running and cheaper than Prozac and Therapy.

oh yeah.......and

Coffee. MmmmMmmm, coffee. I don't know how I would do mornings without coffee EITHER!!!

I don't envy you on the get the house presentable on a whim department. But I really hope it's all over soon, for you!

Words To Live By

Be grateful for each new day.
A new day that you have never lived before.
Twenty-four new, fresh, unexplored hours to use usefully and profitably.
We can squander, neglect, or use them.
Life will be richer or poorer by the way we use today.
Finish every day and be done with it.
You have done what you could;
some blunders and absurdities crept in;
forget them as soon as you can.
Tomorrow is a new day.
You shall begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be
encumbered with your old nonsense.

-Ralph Waldo Emerson
