Joey: "I have a lot of friends."
Me: "Yes you do. You're a friendly guy."
Joey: "And my brothers are my friends too. And my baby sister is my friend too."
Me: "Your baby sister?"
Joey: "Yep. My baby sister is my friend too."
Me: "Honey, you don't have a baby sister."
Joey: "Uh-huh! I asked God for a baby sister, and He said 'Yes'!"
Me: "Oh. Ohhh-kay."

Hmmm....you know, it wouldn't surprise me! Just sayin'!
Heidi :)
Hahahahaha, that is just too adorable.
Oh fingers crossed!!
Some friends of ours at church just got pregnant with their fourth. (They have 3 boys too) This baby is a GIRL!! She totally thinks it is a miracle!
Hoping a girl comes to your house too! :)
Ohhh ohh... Maybe he knows something you don't!! :)
Wasn't that nice of your little man to let you know?
Hmmm... That explains your response to my email about the maternity jeans... :)
okay.... so IS there a baby sister?
P.S. that is sooo sweet
Cuteness! Now you've gotta help God out and starting working on making that sister! Lol!
Can't really argue with that, can you?
Well, you can't exactly argue with God can you? Haha! So cute!
Maybe he knows something we don't. Hmmmm...
That is so cute! My son is praying for a baby brother.
Too cute, keep us posted on that!
I don't know how so much affection can be wrapped up in one Joey. He's so adorably cute. I don't think you and Todd can disappoint him.
Congratulations!
Congratulations! That is priceless.
That is so cute:) My boys did pray for a baby brother and now we have Gavin.
Wait. Wait. Wait....are you? Really? Is your little man a baby whisperer? :)
Keeping my fingers crossed!
Wouldn't she be the cutest little thing?
Goosey always says she asks God for triplet babies. I tell her that wouldn't happen, and she always tells me that's up to God.
I hope God hears Joey louder than he hears Goosey!
Hmm...a little psychic? :)
My daughter talks about her big sister all the time. She will see a pretty girl on tv, like around 18 and say, hey! why is my sister on tv? Weird.
I think we all know what THIS means. :)
Hmmm. Maybe he's got an "in", and knows something you don't. :-)
Oh my!
Curiouser and curiouser...
Oh the faith of a child!
So sweet!
That sweetie pie...
Aww, how sweet. Now if only it worked that way.
That is so cute. I have a friend who said her kids sabotaged her with prayers for another baby! My oldest prayed for a baby sister for years and she finally got one and she is the happiest little girl in the world until her sister starts wanting to play with her toys :)
i'd be laughing if i didn't have a son who was 'ordered up' by his oldest sister when she was 4. let us know when you're due ;)
A baby girl would be wonderful,
nothing like the momma-daughter bond
you'll share........ until the teen
years! LOL It would be nice to
have 3 older big brothers to adore
her..... Joey is sooooo sweet!
Hmmmm.... Gavin told us we were having twins before we knew. Kids have that direct line to God you know. :)

Maybe he knows something nobody else knows!
How?! How?! I was just here, commented on a post and a couple of hours later there's a new one with 34 comments already?!
Anyway. I'll mail the baby girl things as soon as you say when-- wait, forget you, what do you know. Have Joey ring me.
Uh-oh. Ha ha ha!!!
Oooo!!! I'll be waiting for the annoucement. LOL
I think he's on to something.
hmmm... could he ask god a few questions for me?
How far along on the nursery are you now? LOL...cause if a little child asks, you better believe it's in the works one way or another...
Congrats on the Post of the Day mention at David's
Sandi
Will you ask him to pray for me to have a girl too? ;) Then I just might think about having another baby.
That's funny, but it would be so great if God gave him what he asked for. I love it when my kids join me in prayer, and isn't it cool that when children talk to God, it isn't fairy-tales and make-believe, but He hears the desires of their little hearts? I hope he keeps on praying, understanding more and more every day.
Uh-oh! Watching THAT space.... ;0)
Over from David's.
