WW- A Gift

Be grateful for each new day.
A new day you have never lived before.
Twenty-four new, fresh, unexplored hours to use
usefully and profitably.
We can squander, neglect, or use them.
Life will be richer or poorer by the way we use today.
Finish every day and be done with it.
You have done what you could;
some blunders and absurdities crept in;
forget them as soon as you can.
Tomorrow is a new day.
You shall begin it well and serenely and with too high
a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense.
-Ralph Waldo Emerson

I know you've posted this quote before b/c I know I've commented before that I used to have it up in my bedroom when I was a teenager. It's one of OUR favorites! : )

I wish we could meet someday friend. I think we'd get along swimmingly!

By the way, thanks for your comment today, it made me feel better that I am not alone. Really, thank you...

(Is that picture the view from your new back yard?)

Beautiful sunrise or sunset.. Great poem also.. Thanks for sharing..

Rima- No that is not the view from my backyard. We are kind of up on top of a cliff with a little field (and one neighbor) seperating us from the lake. We have a nice view, but not like this. I'll have to get a few pics of our view in summer when everything isn't covered in snow and ice. This picture is down the road from where we live on my old running route.

tweetey- Sunrise. :)
