Time Flies

My baby is not so baby anymore. As we watched the video of Ben's birth I realized just how fast the time had flown by. Two years ago this little man entered our lives and now look at him. Blowing out his candles. Opening his gifts. Playing with his brothers. Giving out hugs and kisses. My heart just swells with love and pride.I wish I could stop the clock. Hold him at this age for a bit longer. It all just goes so fast.

My baby is two.

Happy 2nd Birthday!

Our kids birthdays are always a little bittersweet aren't they?

He's still a baby to you. So is mine. And, he's Tommy's age. Have you told the boys about the new addition yet?

Happy Birthday! I'm with you, too. My son is turning 2 on the 24th. It goes by so fast I hardly remember him as an infant.

And congrats on your newest addition!

Happy Birthday, Ben!
My baby will be 3 in June and thankfully he is still a big cuddler. Love it!

P.S. Dusty was next to me and saw Joey's pj's and was so excited that someone was wearing jammies like his that he had to go grab them to show me. Funny boys.

Yes, it does fly! The boys are all so cute in their jammies and of course they'll always be your babies.... all of them!

Happy Birthday to you baby. My youngest will be 7 on Saturday. Time sure does fly. I tell her all the time she can't grow any bigger because she won't fit on my lap much longer.

It seems like it was just a short time ago when our three kids were crawling around the floor. Now they are 28,32 & 34, and the oldest has a two-year old and a five-year old.

Happy Birthday little guy.

Your gutsier than I would be, to watch one of your birthing videos when it's ahead of you once again. :)

Happy Birthday, Ben. If you ever do figure out how to slow time down, let me know, ok?

I know exactly how you feel. Does it seem like each babies infancy/toddler hood went by quicker. I am in disbelief that my baby will be a year old in 8 short weeks, where did the time go?

Happy birthday Ben! Isn't it amazingly cruel how fast time flies? My littlest one just turned two almost a month ago, I feel your pain.

Happy Birthday! It always amazes me when they go from being totally dependent to walking and talking and joking and I start hearing more and more of "I do it mySELF!" There is some pride and a little loss, but mostly just appreciation for the neat little people mine are becoming.

He's going to have a very good year. ;D

Happy birthday Ben!

Time really does seem to fly by. I cry every time I see photos and clips of my daughter when she was a tiny baby.

Kat...OH MY GOODNESS! I am so sorry! I am not one who's into the whole blog award, tagging, crazy stuff...AT ALL. My blog is just plain and simple...journal of sorts about my days happenings. However, a GOOD friend of mine tagged me for Meme...whatever that really is, and like a "good" friend I hesitantly "played" along. AND...I made the mistake of tagging you...but didn't let you know...the only way would have been if you read my "MEME" post for that day. Then, I was "tipped" off about your Meme grave site...LOL!! If you did notice I tagged you...just forget it! Those tagging things are a bit silly, time consuming and redundant...if ya do too many! So point is...pretend I didn't tag you! Kristin:)

So cute, and he is adorable. His little grown up haircut really started something. Your such a good mom. How are you feeling? Hopefully much better.

Happy Birthday Ben!

Painted Maypole- Oh no. It is not one of those types of birth videos. We always video tape me having contractions and then the baby magically appears (just as it should be). No graphic shots. ;)

My girls are eight and four almost five.. Where does time go?? Happy b-day little man.. Enjoy the time you have left with him before school starts.

Words To Live By

Be grateful for each new day.
A new day that you have never lived before.
Twenty-four new, fresh, unexplored hours to use usefully and profitably.
We can squander, neglect, or use them.
Life will be richer or poorer by the way we use today.
Finish every day and be done with it.
You have done what you could;
some blunders and absurdities crept in;
forget them as soon as you can.
Tomorrow is a new day.
You shall begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be
encumbered with your old nonsense.

-Ralph Waldo Emerson
