Words To Live By
Be grateful for each new day.
A new day that you have never lived before.
Twenty-four new, fresh, unexplored hours to use usefully and profitably.
We can squander, neglect, or use them.
Life will be richer or poorer by the way we use today.
Finish every day and be done with it.
You have done what you could;
some blunders and absurdities crept in;
forget them as soon as you can.
Tomorrow is a new day.
You shall begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be
encumbered with your old nonsense.
-Ralph Waldo Emerson

Reminds me of my cruise...*sigh*. So beautiful.
Beautiful!!!
I miss water. The mountains here are lovely, but I miss water...
Beautiful! I love being close to the water again...although I don't go nearly enough.
You always have the most beautiful photos!
Beautiful, Kathryn!
BEAUTIFUL!
I love God's little reminders...don't you?
gorgeous
Wow, great pic!
I love that picture. I've always said the same thing when the sun's rays shine down like that.
Beautiful photograph. I haven't put up my Wordless Wednesday just yet. I have been at work...*sigh* to be a SAHM. Of course then I'd probably want to be a working mom, because I am never happy!
I'm enjoying your blog. Stumbled here from On the Upside
Absolutely breathtakingly gorgeous!
how pretty!
Beautiful photo:)
If that is not God peeking down on us from Heaven, then I don't know what is. That is just stunning.
(big sigh) Perfect!
Beautiful.
Just gorgeous!
Tranquility
That shot is absolutely outstanding!
Stunning.
Re your previous post, I was surprised to read lately how many people are feeling quite melancholy. Myself included. Nostalgia has been at the forefront of my mind and I have been thinking of my past. But it's life. Yours and mine. And they are experiences which have led us to where we are today.

Beautiful Kathryn!
I've always loved the way the sunlight reflects off of the water. It makes me want to go & buy another beach house RIGHT NOW.
That is exactly what I think every time I see the sun shining through the clouds like that. Beautiful.
Gorgeous!
If you took this up North, I can get why the boys want to be up fishing at 5 AM.
Seriously, beautiful picture!! :)
That shot looks so peaceful.
WOW - amazingn photo!
Hey all! Thanks for the comments. I shot this up at the cabin. It was actually a setting sun though it looks more like a rising sun. A storm was passing close by so we got the tail end of some amazing clouds. It looks even better if you click it to enlarge. :)
Absolutely beautiful - Such a great reminder of our Creator! I love the clouds and the water!
Great picture, you capture two of my favorite things to just sit an look at...the sky and water.
I supersized it, I love it, I copied it.
Do you live like right in front of that lake or something or do you just frequent there a lot. It's just beautiful.
I resort back to my life too and sometimes it is hard to not miss. I love my life now, wouldn't trade it for the world....but there was something fun and exciting about being young, no kid/hubby, and drinking all the time.
I miss the carefree/stress free days.
That's a really beautiful picture! My brother always used to tell me images like that were stairways to heaven when I was little. Didn't know he was a Zeppelin fan at the time..lol
THAT is a pefectly beautiful picture!!
Such a breathtaking shot...truly :)
Breathtaking.
Oooh, this is beautiful!
