Wow!!! You are so lucky if that is right near your house!!! I love that the trees are in it too, it makes all the difference to the shot!

Happy Wordless Wednesday!

ps: I like the music playing on your blog. It is not a song I have heard before but I like it!

Kristen- The lake is about 4 blocks from my house, but not at this spot. This spot is about a mile and a half from my house on my running route. I am in love with the lake. Always have been. :)
For all of you who don't know, this is Lake Michigan. :)

Thanks for clarifying where it was. It looks so misty I thought it might be tropical! Wow!

Good grief. I'm a fruity drink on the hot beach kind of girl, but THAT looks pretty tempting.

Gorgeous way you've framed the photo with the trees.

Words To Live By

Be grateful for each new day.
A new day that you have never lived before.
Twenty-four new, fresh, unexplored hours to use usefully and profitably.
We can squander, neglect, or use them.
Life will be richer or poorer by the way we use today.
Finish every day and be done with it.
You have done what you could;
some blunders and absurdities crept in;
forget them as soon as you can.
Tomorrow is a new day.
You shall begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be
encumbered with your old nonsense.

-Ralph Waldo Emerson
