Ha ha, that poem is awesome! :) It sure does look beautiful, but I think I would have to pick my soggy Washington, I don't do well with extended periods of freezing weather! Although I don't do well with the seemingly never ending dark and rainy/cold days here either… So maybe I should just move to California! ;)
Be grateful for each new day. A new day that you have never lived before. Twenty-four new, fresh, unexplored hours to use usefully and profitably. We can squander, neglect, or use them. Life will be richer or poorer by the way we use today. Finish every day and be done with it. You have done what you could; some blunders and absurdities crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day. You shall begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense.

Ah but it sure is beautiful. And your water is still wet!
Such a pretty picture though!! Not fun to be cold!
betty
That picture alone makes me cold! I'm not sure how you all survive the winters!!
It's crazy how cold it's been. When we get a 30 degree day, it's like summer!
Our winter has just arrived and I am complaining. Thanks for the perspective and make another cup of tea...only a few months before spring.
