Bench with a view! Do you follow Betty?

(((hugs))) This made me melancholy and lonely. Hope that's not how you're feeling.

I hope this is a good thing. The water looks beautiful. I know that you must be missing your kids.

Not for long! Those school days fly by so fast, esp. preschool:)

How can that bench be unoccupied? If it were close to my home, I'd certainly take advantage of that view. I hope you were sitting there and just got up to snap the picture. :)
Alone is good sometimes.

Bijoux- Yes! I love Betty's bench pics. :)

Mom24- Yeah, I was feeling lonely. It had less to do with the kids in school and more with me always having to be the enforcer (the mean one).

Anita- We have these benches all along the lakefront and most of the time they are unoccupied. People are usually running, walking dogs, taking pictures, or playing in the water. Although occasionally I do stop and sit on them (and so do others, briefly). :)

It's a little quiet and a little scary, but I'm enjoying my couple hours 2 days a week:) Hope you are, too!

Words To Live By

Be grateful for each new day.
A new day that you have never lived before.
Twenty-four new, fresh, unexplored hours to use usefully and profitably.
We can squander, neglect, or use them.
Life will be richer or poorer by the way we use today.
Finish every day and be done with it.
You have done what you could;
some blunders and absurdities crept in;
forget them as soon as you can.
Tomorrow is a new day.
You shall begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be
encumbered with your old nonsense.

-Ralph Waldo Emerson
