Easter

Another holiday has come and gone. Just like that. Blink and you may miss it.

There were colored eggs.
There were Easter baskets.
There were clean kids in church clothes.
There was even an Easter egg hunt.
There was also a wonderful brunch with my side of the family and a fabulous 77 degree day at the in-laws. It was a near perfect day.

I hope you and your families had a very lovely Easter and a wonderful weekend.

Wasn't the weather fabulous? It was nice to see kids being able to Easter egg hunt outdoors, for once!

I love the picture of the children and the dog posing with their Easter baskets; great picture of them and even the dog cooperated! Looked like a beautiful wonderful day celebrating Jesus' resurrection; even the weather cooperated!

I swear this almost looks like you are living in Stepford...except for those lovely energetic smiles.

It certainly looks perfect! The colors of your eggs are SO vibrant.
Enjoy these holidays while they are so young! (I know, you know that!)

Cyndy- The eggs were AWESOME this year because we used brown eggs. The colors were amazing. So pretty. :)

Words To Live By

Be grateful for each new day.
A new day that you have never lived before.
Twenty-four new, fresh, unexplored hours to use usefully and profitably.
We can squander, neglect, or use them.
Life will be richer or poorer by the way we use today.
Finish every day and be done with it.
You have done what you could;
some blunders and absurdities crept in;
forget them as soon as you can.
Tomorrow is a new day.
You shall begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be
encumbered with your old nonsense.

-Ralph Waldo Emerson
