You Capture- Pink

Photobucket

When I was a little girl I absolutely loathed pink.   Even all the way through high school I don't think I owned one item of pink clothing.  Not until my late twenties did I realize that I could be strong and fierce and feminine all at the same time.   It wasn't until then that I started to appreciate pink.  Now it is one of my favorite colors.

A soft, peachy-pink is hands down my favorite color in the world.
A nice, bright, florescent pink is always a great pick me up.
And a delicate, cotton candy pink puts a smile in my heart like I never knew it could.

Ahhhh... pink.

I used to hate pink, too. Wore nothing but black all through high school and college. And then I realized I don't really look all that great in black. But I look good in pink! Now I love it.

Love the colors in that first photo, definitely a peachy pink and very beautiful. My four year old daughter has that exact same pink dress, which she wore to her first ever Daddy & Daughter dance a few weeks ago.

All of those pictures are so beautiful!

I've never been into pink, myself, but I have two girly-girls who love it.

Oh, what beautiful photos! I love pink, though it would be hard to tell by looking at my wardrobe or my home.

I hated pink as a kid because everything was bathed in pink....even the walls of my bedroom. I swore I would never have pink in my house when I was an adult.

However, now with two little girlies, everything we have is pink pink pink, and I now find it's so cute and charming. There's nothing cuter than a little girl with pink bows on her ponytails. :)

It's a color that has grown on me, too.

I used to hate pink also--now I like most shades of pink. You'll never see me wear pastel pink though--looks horrible on me!

I disliked pink myself until I had my daughter. And then I went in the opposite direction! Haha She's a girly-girl so it's a good thing I got over my dislike.

Words To Live By

Be grateful for each new day.
A new day that you have never lived before.
Twenty-four new, fresh, unexplored hours to use usefully and profitably.
We can squander, neglect, or use them.
Life will be richer or poorer by the way we use today.
Finish every day and be done with it.
You have done what you could;
some blunders and absurdities crept in;
forget them as soon as you can.
Tomorrow is a new day.
You shall begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be
encumbered with your old nonsense.

-Ralph Waldo Emerson
