Still Waiting...

Still waiting for the sickies to pass.

Still waiting for the weather to warm up.

Still waiting to put the winter jackets away.

Still waiting for spring to feel like spring.

But in the meantime...

Joey and I (the two sickies right now) are snuggling up in the house while Todd takes the rest of the kiddos on a walk.  It may not feel like spring around here but they still want to be outside taking in the fresh air.  This time Grace can join them on a walk too.  The very first walk she is actually walking with everyone and not in a stroller.  My how time flies.

Soon it will be spring.  I mean it will actually feel like spring.  The weather will eventually get warmer.  Any day now!  We will all be healthy and playing outside in the warm sunshine.  But for now we are still waiting.

Tell me, friends, what are you waiting for?

I wish I could send some of our spring weather to you! Or you could always come down here to enjoy it..... ;-)
I am waiting for summer...I like the routine of school, but I'm ready for the relaxation of summer days.

I love how Gracie has her baby stroller along. Such a little mumma.

We also are waiting for warm weather. My oldest spent the morning waiting for her Grandpa to pick her up for a sleepover, and the baby was waiting for her to go so she could have Mom all to herself. Both are happy now. :)

I'm still waiting for spring too. We haven't had rain for two days though, so I'm happy. I think we had rain every day, here in Seattle, for a month straight!

HistoryGirl- I know! Isn't she sweet with her stroller?? And that is what I call her all the time. "Lil mama" :)

Well spring has sprung here...I am waiting for May 20th when we close on a really cute house! SQUEE!! No more tripping over kids toys or each other! Being able to send the kids outside to play and not have to worry about traffic. I hope your wishes come true very soon!

Hope you're feeling better. I'm going to try very hard to stop waiting and live in the moment, deliberately. Note easy, not my nature, but worth trying.

Feel better.

I am still waiting on my 3 year old to want to feed himself at home. I literally have to chase him around the house to get him to eat anything. Any suggestions on how to fix that?

Words To Live By

Be grateful for each new day.
A new day that you have never lived before.
Twenty-four new, fresh, unexplored hours to use usefully and profitably.
We can squander, neglect, or use them.
Life will be richer or poorer by the way we use today.
Finish every day and be done with it.
You have done what you could;
some blunders and absurdities crept in;
forget them as soon as you can.
Tomorrow is a new day.
You shall begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be
encumbered with your old nonsense.

-Ralph Waldo Emerson
