Ahhh... Spring

(Taken early this morning)

On Monday we saw signs of life.  Ninety percent of the huge snow piles had melted giving way to grass and sidewalks.  Yesterday it started sleeting and snowing and everything was covered in a thick blanket of ice.  Today it looks like a blizzard outside.  Everything is covered in snow (with sheets of ice underneath) and it will continue to snow all day.

So glad that the boys' spring break is this week, what with the lovely weather and all.

My Facebook feed has been nothing but not so nice comments to Mother Nature and her cruel trick. And my husband wants to move back to WI. Ugh.

LOL at Spring Break. Just doesn't seem right does it? :) We had some gorgeous spring weather that lasted a few days and now we are back to cold temps and chances of snow the next few days. I'm not too happy about it.

Boys are soo excited about our trip up there this summer. Make sure that snow is melted ok? lol

Calling for 2-5 inches here in Mid-Missouri...if I remember right March came in like a lamb so it will go out like a lion. Stupid lion!

MamaB- Over here March came in like a lion and apparently it liked being here so much it stayed all the way through March. This is the coldest snowiest March I've ever seen. Grrrr. :(

Words To Live By

Be grateful for each new day.
A new day that you have never lived before.
Twenty-four new, fresh, unexplored hours to use usefully and profitably.
We can squander, neglect, or use them.
Life will be richer or poorer by the way we use today.
Finish every day and be done with it.
You have done what you could;
some blunders and absurdities crept in;
forget them as soon as you can.
Tomorrow is a new day.
You shall begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be
encumbered with your old nonsense.

-Ralph Waldo Emerson
