Betty- The red one on the bottom is a male Cardinal and the top is the female Cardinal. I just loved that they were hanging out together. I wish they were sitting just a little closer so I could have zoomed in a bit more. As it is, I took this pic through my window so it is a little fuzzy, but ahh well. ;)
Wow you captured them both in such beautiful light. I love the female cardinal's colouring.. even though the male is the one that is always so striking. This pair is beautiful.
Aren't they gorgeous?
ReplyDeleteThey are little butterballs of warmth this time of year!
ReplyDeleteHow pretty! We don't get birds like that in the Seattle area. They're so colorful. : )
ReplyDeleteGreat picture of them!! I don't think we have those types of birds here (and I'm drawing a blank on what kind of birds they are).

ReplyDeleteYou've disappeared! I hope all is okay with you and yours, Kat. Please check in when you can.
ReplyDeleteLike Hilary, I noticed you are MIA. Hope you are well and not frozen!
ReplyDeleteThank you both! I'm fine. Just cold and grouchy. Not much to report. Other than the fact that this winter is rotten! I'm ready for summer! ;)
