A Special Day

Today Joey received his 1st Communion.  It was a very special and emotional day.
Each year when I watch the First Communicants walk down the aisle I get emotional.   They look like mini brides and grooms and it just reminds me of  how fast these little ones grow.  Watching my oldest child solemnly walk down the aisle to receive his First Communion made me that much more emotional.
Joey was so excited and nervous for this day to come and I was just so proud of him.  So happy for him.  He really is such a good boy.

 The grandparents and the kidlets.

I am so proud of you Joey.  I love you.  God Bless you, honey!

  11. You look tan in some of those pictures. I'm jealous if you guys have had sun......seems like years since we've seen any.

My Goddaughter had her 1st Communion this past weekend along with 2 other friends kids. It still got me emotional watching them. It is so sweet seeing how serious it is and they seem to really understand what a grown up responsibility it is.
