Beautiful photograph. I haven't put up my Wordless Wednesday just yet. I have been at work...*sigh* to be a SAHM. Of course then I'd probably want to be a working mom, because I am never happy!
I'm enjoying your blog. Stumbled here from On the Upside
Re your previous post, I was surprised to read lately how many people are feeling quite melancholy. Myself included. Nostalgia has been at the forefront of my mind and I have been thinking of my past. But it's life. Yours and mine. And they are experiences which have led us to where we are today.
Hey all! Thanks for the comments. I shot this up at the cabin. It was actually a setting sun though it looks more like a rising sun. A storm was passing close by so we got the tail end of some amazing clouds. It looks even better if you click it to enlarge. :)
Do you live like right in front of that lake or something or do you just frequent there a lot. It's just beautiful.
I resort back to my life too and sometimes it is hard to not miss. I love my life now, wouldn't trade it for the world....but there was something fun and exciting about being young, no kid/hubby, and drinking all the time.
That's a really beautiful picture! My brother always used to tell me images like that were stairways to heaven when I was little. Didn't know he was a Zeppelin fan at the time..lol
Reminds me of my cruise...*sigh*. So beautiful.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteI miss water. The mountains here are lovely, but I miss water...

ReplyDeleteI've always loved the way the sunlight reflects off of the water. It makes me want to go & buy another beach house RIGHT NOW.
