Wordless Wednesday- Lake Michigan Part IV

Click on the pic to enlarge it. The clouds behind the lighthouse are amazing. The clouds were actually formed by the steam rising off the lake. It was THAT cold outside.

  4. Kathryn~ I need to go take a pic from this side of the lake...we can compare iceburgs! :) Ha.

We have school today, as much as I want the kids to go to school, they are saying that it is bitterly cold out and icey...and I don't wanna take them all out just to deliver a preschooler... when's spring?

  28. Bless you heart. :-) The frozen lake theory is a common error. Actually, scientists have recently discovered that this phenomenon is caused by stampeding invisible penguins.

    Nice picture, by the way!
