Congratulation...Man, you've had A LOT going on! Congratulations on your son's success. That's a huge commitment and sacrifice and I can only imagine how this felt on your end. I have seen over the years your love for your children and your closeness with them, so letting one go early had to be super difficult.
Congratulations on the job--sounds like it worked out well in many ways for your family and you still have the time you want to keep making memories with them.
Hope the rest of your school year goes smoothly and your summer vacation is full of good times. Congrats to him!! So glad you will be able to be at the ceremony and get to see him!! It is so hard when they leave the nest but you Mama Bird (and Dad Bird) did a great job raising him (and are doing a great job raising the other 3). He'll do just fine and imagine the adventures he will have and the experiences as well!! I hope he doesn't get stationed too far away from you all!

Lovely update on your other children and what you guys have done together as a family. It seems like you have tried the best you can to thrive during this time. I am sorry it has been an emotional time though for you. I hope your mom is doing well after her surgery almost a year ago. And good for you for being an ER nurse! That is a tough job!! You are doing fine and I'm sure will continue to do so!

No obligations, but I retired my other blog last year. It was a casualty of the pandemic and politics. I took a 4 month blogging break, dumped a lot of blogs I no longer wanted to follow and then made a new blog featuring our corgi puppy :)

Here's the link, but again no obligations. My other one is private only because I retired it and didn't want spammers on it.

Take care of yourself and maybe another post sooner than a year's time!!

bettybettyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06323135450742337670noreply@blogger.com
