How inviting! How far from you is that?

So peaceful! I hope you got to sit and rest with him for a while.

Mom24- This is alone my running path. This particular spot is about 2 miles from my house. Grace and I have been sitting here reading in the morning in between the time I drop the boys off at school and the time her school starts.

Sheryl- I love it here. It is a frequent stop of mine. :)

Love the picture! I would love to take a picture from behind the bench for a "bench with a view" :)

So beautiful and peaceful. Can I come visit?

Betty- I actually have a couple of pictures of it from behind (and other benches along the same path). If you click on my Lake Michigan label you'll be able to see it. I know how much you like a bench with a view. :)

Beautiful!!!
I also love the image at the top of your blog - that one is especially breath-taking.

Oh, Kat, this is you. You reflect the emotions through your art!

Words To Live By

Be grateful for each new day.
A new day that you have never lived before.
Twenty-four new, fresh, unexplored hours to use usefully and profitably.
We can squander, neglect, or use them.
Life will be richer or poorer by the way we use today.
Finish every day and be done with it.
You have done what you could;
some blunders and absurdities crept in;
forget them as soon as you can.
Tomorrow is a new day.
You shall begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be
encumbered with your old nonsense.

-Ralph Waldo Emerson
